Hellooooooooooooooo, hello again blogworld! :D

It's been ages I know, I've been around, not they way I should but I really will!

This time I bring you this collection I fell in love with, the entire of it, it's from Ion Fiz, a spanish designer and was presented in the Cibeles, Madrid SS 2011 with lots of expectations and of course lots of congratulations, was one of the most crowded runways and I have no doubt why.

I find it impecable, the inspiration was the french sweet Macaron, so delicious and delicate and also kind of tricky and hard to make, we can see it in all the pieces, from the colours: vanilla, light pink, turquoise even grey but a yummy grey! The flawless of the fabrics and just the construction was spectacular, I really want the entire collection wrapped in box with a bow like right now! :D

It's really inspiring to discover this designers that move your feelings so much, hope you enjoy it as much as I did and still doing!

Swash it's an amazing proyect from Sarah Swash and Toshio Yamanka, they're both really passionated about prints and botanic images so it's reflected here. I love the photographs, the concept kind of remind me Japan, origami stuff and all the colors. I'm dying for the leggings there are so colorful and full of life and the prints are so unique, the best way to combine illustration and fashion.

Top Man are bringing back the seventies with this collection. The British brand is taking a look back at the glam rock imagination of the seventies.

Prints are everywhere, with lots of color, shine and stylized figures. And purple is a big color in this new line and the model, what else could you ask for...?

I'm so sorry for my sooooooooo long posts but really collage takes ALL my time, now is all about school projects I promise I'll show you!

But now I'm going to tell you about this amazing contest Jimmy Choo and Elton John AIDS Foundation have launched: a photo competition to support the launch of Project PEP, a charity collection that donates 25% of sales to the Simelela Rape Centre in South Africa. The money goes towards providing the HIV-preventative treatment PEP (which must be taken within 72 hours of exposure to HIV) and counselling to victims of rape in South Africa, which has the highest count of rape in the world.

The overall winners will be announced after the competition close on 7th December, in just a few weeks’ time. On offer is a Grand Prize of the ultimate Jimmy Choo VIP experience – the winner will be invited to spend a day of luxury and the Jimmy Choo HQ and choose 7 pairs of shoes and 2 handbags to keep. Plus over 100 exclusive Jimmy Choo prizes will also be awarded.

The theme of the photo competition is 'You, Your Shoes and 72'.

Here´s Marc Jacobs´s first swimsuit collection, Marc by Marc Jacobs spring 09.

Best of all is his use of prints, many of them featuring in his ready to wear collection.

Ribbons, buckles and stars are used on denim, soft pink and reddish neon tones, in a collection that features everything from bikinis to swimsuits.

It has an urban feel and it´s designed to adapt to lots of locations, from city balconies to trendy beaches.

I just adore it! Kind of simply funny chic!

I fell in love with this collection!

As it's inspired by characters from The Nutcracker, which she combined beautifully with an unique chic style.A naive, feminine touch.

I absolutely LOVE ballet so this combines 2 favs: fashion + ballet!

The minidresses were amazing and the fabrics OMG and the bows I'm fan of bows and the palette of colours and the tights and the jackets were awesome, everything was just perfect I really really huge fan cause it's so much like my style, girly-rocker!

Daughter of famous editor of Vogue Paris Corine Roitfeld, is the new face of Mango's ad campaign.

They've discovered an excellent branding tool in their link with popular faces.

Now's the time for this real European socialité!

This collaboration comes as no surprise - late last year we saw Julia dressed in Mango. And now we get to see the long-awaited photos.

The collection takes its inspiration from nature. It's simple, with architectural silhouettes and dominant pearl and grey tones.

I didn't like this pictures, found them as the collection pretty simple and kind of boring but she's gorgeous anyways!

Well obviously I know winter is over and now is all about Spring trends but I just found this designer that makes very original winter hats!

I guess we can wear this head accesories in any season because as we have this crazy weather... one day it's so hot and the other freezing!

So here it is Emilie Zanon, a 27-year-old French designer and her truly original collection of head accessories called chapkas, her designs (along with the help of excessive use of recycled fabrics) have this extra-terrestrial shapes.

Zanon describes her inspiration for this collection to be simply the observation of people in the street, trying to protect themselves not only from the cold but also from the different sources of pollution surrounding them. She created a warm and comfortable world for them to hide peacefully. It’s fascinating to see such inspiration not only translated in her collection, but also in the photographs of her pieces.

Don't you love this ammount of creativity?

Frida Giannini's new passion is tartan, in jackets and silk georgette dresses.

A collection that also manages to fit in the classic argyles, which combine with gold-flecked accessories.Greens and blues dominate the colour palette, mixing with pinks and yellows in the tartan patterns and giving the collection a younger, more urban feel and an interesting yet unexpected British touch.

She's wearing the so much commented "wig jacket",not my favourite, but in her looks amazing, and with those legs, wow!

I really liked her SS collection, very bohemian femenine with the flower-laced head bands and that loose but fitting dresses in floral prints or bubble pink even she uses black for this summer.

She also includes boyfriend pants in glossy silk and shorts, sequined shorts and swimwear, a very complete collection.

For over 60 years, the Vogue Talent Contest for Young Writers has been one of the UK's most prestigious writing awards. Many established journalists started their careers after entering the contest, and recent winners have gone on to become successful poets, playwrights, authors and members of Vogue's staff. So, what are we looking for in a young writer? Wit, creativity, originality and stylish writing.

What's the prize? £1,000, plus a month's paid work experience at Vogue, with £500 for the runner-up!!! Are you kidding me? This really are PRIZES, you even get paid for being in Vogue! Dream job...

How to enter:

1.Write about a personal memory. This could be a memory of an extraordinary event, place or person, or simply something that resonated deeply (800 words maximum);
2.Write a short feature article - either a contemporary arts review, a fashion trend piece or a piece of social observation (800 words maximum).

Accompanying your entry should be a passport-sized photograph of yourself, attached to a sheet of paper listing your name, permanent address, telephone number, date of birth and occupation. The judging panel will include Vogue's editor Alexandra Shulman, senior members of the magazine's staff, guest editors and writers. Finalists will be invited to a lunch at Vogue with the judges, after which the winner will be decided.

Lagerfeld Confidential, the documentary about you know who, airs on the Sundance Channel on February 9th at 7pm EST.

Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton, which followed Marc in the making of the Spring 08 LV collections, airs on Sundance on Valentine’s Day at 7pm EST.

Yves St. Laurent: 5 Aveneu Marceau 75116 Paris airs the next day at 7pm EST, also.

If you haven't heard about Tierra here's her bio in her own words:

A lot of people wanna know what I do for a living and it’s hard to explain, but I can say I am living my dream. I work from home full time a Professional Fashion Blogger and Social Media Consultant…I focus on interior design, art, retail, fashion, jewelry, style, beauty, lifestyle, and luxury items. I also help clients within my target audience with brand building and social media marketing. With over six year experience in the Information Technology Industry, I decided to merge my two loves together…fashion and technology.

So here are eight guidelines to getting the media credentials that you deserve as a fashion blogger:

Get from behind the computer
So many fashion bloggers confine themselves to their computers and cut their opportunities to get offered media access to local fashion events and shows. Get from behind the computer and get out there by attending local events and supporting local designers. So many fashion industry professionals will be excited to give your readers an inside look into their lines or boutiques.

Attend the right events
Some events every fashion blogger should attend locally include boutique openings, local museum lectures and exhibits on fashion, trunk sales, apparel conventions, and fashion parties. Bring your business cards and be prepared to network with industry professionals.

Localize your content
Sometimes as fashion bloggers we fail to reach out to local readers. Use one post a week or month to talk about fashion events and news in your area. It’s great to cover New York Fashion week but what about local Fashion Week, sales at local events and new boutique openings? Incorporate those into your blogging editorial calendar and make your blog the spot for news and events in your area.

Get more out of your Social Media Footprint
It’s important to use at least 30 minutes of social media networking to search for other users and fashion bloggers from your area. Use twirl to search for tweets that include keywords of your city and follow those tweeters. Are other users or bloggers talking about a local fashion event? If so, make plans to meet them at the event and exchange information.

Contact Local Fashion Event Organizers
One of the easiest ways I got a full media pass to a local fashion week in my area was by contacting the event organizers and offering to cover the event on my blog. They immediately sent a media credential application over to me and gave me full access. Most fashion events will not turn down coverage and support from fashion bloggers because of the influence blogs have on consumers. If you are just getting started, another way to get media credentials is to offer free advertising space on your blog in exchange for media access; you’ll soon find that not many people will turn down free advertising.

Be prepared to defend your right
Unfortunately, traditional media and some organizers won’t be very supportive of a fashion blogger taking up media space at the end of the runway with a digital camera; but you have a right to be there. Be prepared to explain what a blog is, how many readers you have, how you will use the content, and how important fashion blogging is to the industry.

I got in, now what?
Be professional! Use a quality camera to take pictures of event happenings, post information within 24 hours , email posts to organizers and boutique owners, and stay until the end to absorb as much information as possible. Another effective method is to go backstage and get interviews with the “forgottens” like makeup artist, stylist, and runway organizers. And most importantly, have the correct tools of your trade including business cards, cell phone, pen, and a notebook.

Never….
…forget to attach your blogger resume to media access applications, bring friends unless given permission, leave an event too early, give a “diss” review, leave your business card at home, misspell names, or forget to send thank you emails or letters to the appropriate people.

Before you now it you’ll be considered as a legitimate part of the media and have more invitations and samples than you will know what to do with!

Olympic medallist Nastia Liukin is the face well the body for the Max Azria's Spring Summer 2009 ad campaign.

I absolutely love this pictures, so femenine, polish, graceful... so inspiring in a certain way for me!

They reflect perfectly the philosophy of movement and dance that gymnastics have and in this new dress collection we'll have to admit Nastia looks amazing !

The illustrations show designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Alber Elbaz, Donatella Versace, Luella Bartley and Holland naked.

House of Holland definitely it's bringing some sense of humour to the fashion world again. Who could forget the last collection with messages like 'Do me daily Christopher Bailey'.

I found the Little Marc Spring Summer Collection and just ADORE it!

Love this punk, classy style and the hair, I enjoy so much the colour effects that I'm thinking of getting some, I loved the blue ones!

The only thing I didn't like was the mouse jacket and the mouse flats... just my huge phobia to rodents!

The stylist and make-up artist Katey Denno made and amazing job as well as the children's fashion photographer Achim Lippoth and what about the kids, so professional.

Is one of my favourites campaigns event though is for kids!

I've never been a huge fan of sports I have to confess but it's necessesary so a friend and I went to Cuemanco (a very known place here in Mexico) to walk the 5 km of the complete track and for my suprise at the end I wasn't dying! Lol

I got the best dressed list according to "WhoWhatWear" but I only choose my favourite ones.

Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen.- they are always trendsetters but I personally prefer MK style, always fabulous.

Emma Watson.- this girl has become a style icon, always polished, impecable and very Chanel I guess that's why she has now a Chanel Perfume Campaign comming!

Chanel Iman.- oh one of my favourites style icons, I absolutely love her style from runways to everyday life, she's always right with her pieces!

Carine Roitfeld.- being Paris Vogue editor-in-chief she obviously has to be in this list, what else can I say!

Rihanna.- besides being an music idol, she has become an style icon too from her hair to toe she shows her fierce and eclectic personality!

Rachel Bilson.- also one of my favourites style icon, she has this natural, fresh but stylish look that I love, she always looks good even if she's only going for a walk!

I just LOVE this day, for me it's a very special and important date.

I have some weird traditions like wearing brand new clothes or shoes or something new because that way you will be branding all year!

I got this from my aunt that lives in Miami, Florida as my Xmas present (The Fairchild Dictionary of Fashion)!

I wanted this book for a long time because as studying Fashion Desing here is so expensive I want to know everything I can from the industry!

What I couldn't believe is that the shipping was almost as expensive as the book itself!

It's gonna take me long time to read it as it' s a dictionary but I'm pretty sure this will be very helpful!

Have you imagined Karl Lagerfeld, Donatella Versace, John Galliano or Agyness Deyn naked?...

Well Henry Holland did and print them in his new t-shirt collection for his brand: House of Holland!

The chosen designers and his muse are represented in a cartoon way wearing only flowers in certain parts of their bodies, even the Chanel camelia is used on Karl Lagerfield!

The t-shirts will be next year in the Dover Street Market in London and in the on-line store for 75 pounds.

An interesting way to wear a designer!

Well MAC knows that and is bringing a special make-up edition based in Hello Kitty!

The line will arrive on MAC’s Web site Feb. 10, in North American stores on Feb. 12 and into overseas stores in March and only be available for 8 weeks!

I can't wait!

Just hope they bring it to Mexico too!

OMG! I have THE shoes, the impossible shoes, I call them like that because I though I woludn't be able to own them, I saw them in Zara like about 3 weeks ago and love them cause they look very similar to the ones Victoria Beckham wore for the Marc Jacobs ads and they were in special price: just 400 pesos (like 45 dlls) but that day there wasn't my size so I return 2 days after and they were gone! the saleperson told me they were sold out! I was like :/ so I decided I'll look for them so I went almost every Zara store in Mexico City and everywhere they told me tha same son at the end of the day I was extermely sad and mad.

I was already getting over my failed shoe hunting but my aunt asked me to go with her to the mall to pay her credit card and we were about to leave but she said let's go to Zara to see the shoes and right immediatly I entered I saw them I was SO HAPPY I wanted to shout and there was mi size but if not I swear I'll buy them in another one, I don't know if that had happened to you but they become like an addiction like a goal you have to reach no matter what, yeah I'm a little bit intense but I guees it comes from family cause my aunt has a pair of lovely shoes size 4 (she's size 5) and bought them just because she fell in love with them and want to own them even though she'll never use them!

So here are the shoes, I know they aren't very awesome but I just LOVE them even though it was a journey to find them!

Hi I just wanna show you some of my personality that I reflect on my hair, I've done so much things with it, I used to have it really really long until I was like 12, then have it in a "normal" way, when I turned 15 I had my first "colour thing", I got this highlights, very few, then like a year after I cut it like short the right side and long the left one, some time after it grows it looked kind of weird so I cut it the same long again, then for my high school prom I got hair extentions but only like for a week cause I couldn't handle them! then I got the classic bob style then I got it dyed in hot pink but my hair grows really fast so 2 weeks ago I went to the stylist and have it cut really really short that even the pink went away!

I kind of miss my long hair! Now that I found the pictures of the old me!

I just found this image of the Sex and the City movie and really love it because I think it shows perfectly what fashion makes, make us a spotlight, I think we shouldn't dress for people to admire us or envy us, fisrt of all we have to dress for ourselves, to feel special and awesome and just US and that way people is going to look at us because we are proud of ourselves not only our outfits, we have to be ok with us for the world to be ok as well with us.

So don't be afraid to tell the world who you are and also don't be afraid to wear anything you want just because what the others "might say", ifyou like it go on and hit the streets!

Hi, i'm new in this blog thing, I've seen millions and love most of them so I decided to try start my own, I'm from Mexico City, 18 years old, student of Advestisement Design (well I start Feb 09) and a FASHION LOVER. I love clothes, the way fashion represents a person, give us style and show the way we are or how we want to be, clothes, shoes, bags, necklaces... are for me ART "WeArAbLe ArT", designers make amazing pieces that we see on runways, some celebrities and lucky peolpe that can afford them! Designers are our inspiration but not only designers, everything can be an inspiration to us: magazines, music, food, weather, sports... but what inspire me the most are blogs, normal people that try to make their lifes fashionable, well not so normal people, amazing people because they show the world their style, their point of view in life and are not afraid of criticism.
